December! :)

Dear readers, first and as usual, how are you? sorry I know it has been a while but lately my mood has been quite low...and as you know I don't want to write for writing...if it means something lol I just like to be inspired! :) I also hope that you're enjoying this festive period as much as I do. Christmas is a time that I really like with all the decorations, the light, the christmas tree, la créche, the gifts...the good food that you can't help eating or drinking too much champagne-despite saying you want to be careful and end up with leftovers for a month a least!!! (rire) :) Anyway, won't be too long...:) just wanted to say hi! :)  and thanks again for being here! In the meantime, I don't know whether I'll have time to write another article (maybe...not sure)...before Christmas-I'll try...but my head is completly elsewhere...keep you posted! take care and see you soon I hope for another article! xxx

Just a little hi

Dear readers, I hope you're OK or at least a bit better than me lately, I realize that growning-up isn't always easy-it's life I know...we do how much we can...if it means something, sorry my mind is completly elsewhere...and have many things in mind...so I won't be long today...I've left London, always be a nice and animated city, full of British charm as it should be but too stressful for me and so many people, it's crazy! :) I've now relocated to a nice city, slightly less busy, but full of charm and near London...green and so many bicycle, quite funny! A lof of college, churches and cathedral...well, it looks like Oxford...a bit different of course but it has the same spirit and charm...:) Yes, I'm talking about Cambridge! :) It's a bit crazy and am still a bit stressed but maybe with time...it should be OK...thank you again for being here and see you soon for another article, I don't know exactly when but I don't forget you! :) Good luck for everything, take care, xxx

Don't stop believing :)

Dear readers, well, well, I know it hasn't been too long indeed! :) and here I'm writing to you again! it seems I can't stay away too long! :) Never mind that, I really don't mind! Always a pleasure to exchange or share things with you these past three years-indeed again!- and despite having some doubts on whether I should continue this blog or not, having sometimes the impression of repeating myself , I for the moment will continue to write articles, hoping you'll enjoy it as much as I do and that I don't bother you too much! :)
And now, after all that, yes as you know I miss writing, so let's...while I'm putting future idea for a future story or stories on a notebook! :) but first, and as usual, hope you're all OK! :)
Now, let's start! You might start to wonder what I'd like to share with you today...rightly so, don't you think? Well, I won't be too long and in any case I've to confess that I'm not an expert on the subject...so please don't think I know everything on the subject, I don't, just a few thoughts, an opinion on the matter...:) sometimes it happens that thoughts goes through my head...you know how it is! I don't think I won't be too long anyway, so I hope I don"t bother too much (again) with that...sorry in advance! (rire) And now where was I? Hum....now I've forgotten what I wanted to say, it will come back to me...in a minute...well, lately my mind is completly elsewhere and I'm stressed and so many things on my mind but I won't bother you too much with that today...:)
Anyway (a word you might have guess by now that I seem to use often!), let' s go back to our sheep before I forget what I'd like to share with you! :) that would be...ironic? maybe? :) well, what I would like to share with you on this article, well (again^^), the title can already help you guessing! But don't believing in what? it can indeed be many things/subjects...such as don't stop believing in your dreams (important), whether they are small or big, don't stop! it can be something (whether they are achievable or not), that helps you going every day, that keeps you believing that anything can happen, don't you agree? I'm not really sure but life can be full of surprises...and we are the one that can (often) make these things happen..:) once more just a thought, I'm not always right and just like you I'm still learning and have again many things to learn! :) it can also be....hum, should I tell you? I'm probably blushing by now just by thinking about it, once again I'm no expert and it can be something really really  really really nice when it happens, but for me, it can also be scary!!! I don't know a thing about that , I have probably (like anyone else maybe?), many questions...that I'd probably (sorry if I repeat myself,  am not very comfortable with that yet!), have the answer as I go along...but that's for another day! :) you might have guess by now what I'm talking about? The correct answer would be: .....???? oh crap, I'm jumping (don't laugh please, thank you! :) I was talking about LOVE! :) I'm might be cynical sometimes (but it just to protect myself, chut that's a secret, not to be repeated, thank you!) I just hope to be able to see it when it happens! :) and as everyone can say, it happens anytime, anywhere, when you aren't expecting it...but then again I don't really know, just reporting what most people can say! :) well, on that note and before I say anything else (stupid or not, revelant or not^^), don't stop believing ! OK? ;) Take care and see you soon for another article! xxxx P.s= sorry for any language mistake(s), or mispelling in advance! :)

I don't usually (or try not to) use the pronoun 'I' too often but...

Dear readers, Hope you are all OK since my last article! I know I said wouldn't write for a while but it seems that it got the better of me! lol! I don't know why, maybe it just due to the fact that it had been...(sorry I'm going to repeat myself a bit) a while since I've written-well, OK, I guess I've indeed written a few articles these past few weeks or months even but I realize that I still miss writing stories, let my imagination ran, imagine/picture different characters, how could they be: nice or bad people? mostly nice if I say so (rire), where could they live? what sort of friend do they have? what job do they do? what are their hobbies? do they have pets? what about their family (parents, brothers, sisters, uncle, aunt, cousins, nephews, nieces...etc...?) , what about the plot? will there be many unexpected turn of event? ....many things probably that authors regularly ask themselves as they want the readers to read until the end without stopping to to turn the page! :) I love that feeling (you are probably aware of that by now if you have been following me from the beginning), either to type on a word document, or either take a pen and just write anything that goes on my head, to let the word form themselves on paper...:) can't help it! And I often have a notebook not to far away to write any future stories ideas that comes on...whether it's by looking around, or whether it's coming from a Tv show, a movie or a book I'm reading or have read...all are a precious source of inspiration! :) Well, pretty much everyting can be! :)
On that note and hoping to be able to take time to write a story (or stories), take care and see you soon for another article! xxxx

Pause

Dear readers, as usual, I hope you're all OK! :)

Today, just a short article, I won't be too long. Soon, I'll go back to England in order to find a job and accommodation (oh, joy, lol, not that I don't like it but it's feels like being in a jungle most of the time!). And it's still a bit scary! I also might be a bit busy for a few weeks while I'm trying to figure out what to do next. So, as you might have guessed, I don't know whether I'll write much during this period...don't worry I'm not forgetting you, just making a tiny-little pause in writing articles, will keep you posted as I go along and when I'll know where I'm going! :) Thanks again for being here and good luck for everything! :)

Before I go, just a picture: do you know where it is? I'll let you guess! :) xxx

Take care and see you soon for another article! xxxx

Operation Sunshine

Dear readers, hope you're OK or at least better than me lately, well, I won't bother too much with that but thanks again for being here, I really appreciate it! :)
It seems that I like to write articles lately (lol), well, that's a good thing! Even if I still wonder how long this blog will run...(don't worry, for now it is still here, you'll be first inform when I do) but for now, I enjoy doing it! :) So, let's see where it goes! :)

And today, just a short article and as you have seen the title, sunshine lately is very rare as we have already started to be in Autumn, that the night will fall early, that the temperature will be even fresher than that and that will have to wear warmer clothes! And trying not fall ill or catch a cold by taking I don't know how many cup of tea (rire)! :) Now, to illustrate the title, here is a picture, well, it's a cover of a book that I recently bought (I haven't read it yet but the title has catch my attention...:)

I agree :) in need of sunshine :)
Voilà! :) Take care and see you soon for another article! And a special thought to a great friend that I miss and hope that P is well too! :) xxx

Books vs Kindle

Dear readers, hope you're OK as usual! :)

Today, just a short article, unless I get distracted and starts rambling! :) Anyway, while I'm still preoccupied, stressed, trying to figure out what to do next and not to panic (smile discreet), I recently-due to fact that books starts to pile up (lol, not that I mind of course, I still love them and nothing will change that; as they always been there for me whenever I need, whether I  want to laugh or cry, or just feel that my mood is down, I know where to find them, I always love to go to bookshops, I could spend hours just looking at them and wondering which book(s) to buy! ) well, where was I ? Hum, oh, yes, as you have seen the title, I of course love books (as you know by now) and lately, some close member of my family have advised me, that one day (or soon maybe), it would be nice to have a kindle (or something similar!), as it would be slightly practical, less expensive, and would have less book, whenever I wonder where to put them. I'll probably have to get there some day, but sometimes, whenever I see a kindle, I still wonder 'where are the pages?', I know it's a bit stupid, you still 'virtually' turn them anyway...it just that...I will in any case, miss the feeling of turning the page, feeling the paper, see the words printed, to hold a book in my hands...it's a nice feeling! No worries, as I know that even if I invest in a Kindle (or something like that), I'll still from time to time, buy a book! :) can't help it! :) And hope again, that books (despite all the technologies that allow us to read a book on a tablette/kindle/I-Pad or other...) won't disappear! that would be sad...and maybe, hopefully, as the centuries or years have proven us, books will be able to survive, and that people will still want to go to a bookshop and buy one or several! :)

On that note, take care and see you soon for another article, xxx

Tea time

Dear readers, hope as usual that you're all OK! :) As for me, well, it depends...

But today, just a short article, while the weather has started to lets its place to a more 'autumn' weather we could say, with sometimes a bit of sun, to let us remember the nice summer we had, though now the temperature are quite fresh (and you mostly want to stay in your bed with a cup of tea & a good book!) , the sky is often grey with clouds, and the rain is not too far away, the trees are also starting to lose their leaves...in a nutshell, a typical october weather (though it might improve...?!)

And as you have seen the title, you're probably wondering what it means exactly, or what I could be talking about...? don't worry, lol, I won't start bothering you (or not) by lauching myself into the history of how tea was born, how many numbers of tea we can find today or many useful (I hope) informations such as which country is drinking more tea than the other, for example...:) No, not that, just a postcard-well, the picture I've taken of a postcards I've recently bought while I visiting Lyon and I just wanted to share it with you...:)

Lovely, isn't it? couldn't resist! :)

well, it's probably one of her most well-known movie...
: Thanks again for being here and listening to...all my ramblings (rire) take care and see you soon for another article! :) xxx

The Lizzie Bennet Diaries

Dear readers, hope you're OK since my last article, or still at least a bit better than me...well, you probably know by now as you have been following me these past few months...so, I won't bother you too much with that...it's more or less the same, as my mood is still playing russian mountains...grrr...:( don't like it much!

Anyway, as you might konw, last week-end , Uni has officially ended...in the sense where I've officially graduated, quite impressive! it was great (and slightly stressfull), as we're not students anymore but responsible adults, ready to lauch into the next steps, and start a new chapter...nice feeling, but for me a big step, we could say...

In the meantime, and she's never too far, ready to make me laugh all the time, to make me forget, putting my mood up, every time I'm thinking about it. I must have read her books, some several times, saw their many adaptations, went to the place she has lived, she's always there, whether authors tried to adapt their books to her work, imagining different stories but keeping her spirit...and I've also did my third year's dissertation on her...you have probably guess by now...? And the answer would of course be: Jane Austen! :) love her and her work since I've discovered her! :) Quite easy actually! :) Well, this time, it was small videos made on none other than Youtube, and you probably wonder why..., though in the end, you forget that and plunge yourself (again) into the world of 'Pride&Prejudice' (probably the book that has been known for its many adapatations in every sense of the way! it might be seen as 'too much' or you could say 'what? Again!'but in this case, you can only say 'What? this is great! where can I find it? What is it called again?' it so hilarious and funny, so refreshing, it doesn't really matter how it is done and even if small changes are made, you just forget these details. It's quite good actually! And even when you have finished to watch the 100 episodes (yes!) you still want more! Can't help it! :)
Well, the plot, to make things simple, is basically the same, (some names are slightly changed but remain more or less the same), anyway, our heroine Lizzie Bennett is this time doing videos on her family and what happened to her and them along the way for her thesis project! And there you go, plunging yourself in her crazy world and her meeting with Darcy, as well as many other characters that you know well by now, if you are a fan like me! :) Each episodes only last between 3 min and sometimes more like 6 or 7 min, even goes to 8 min. So, not very long and suddenly you found yourself wanting to watch more (even if you know the story very well!) In one word, very addictive! :) So, if you're interested (or just want to watch it again!) go on youtube and put 'The Lizzie Bennet diaries', then you just have to follow the episodes! Have a good time! :) Hope you'll like it as much as I did (already miss it^^)- each episode is unique and has make me laugh over and over again! Just a little secret (but shush, not telling anyone else (smile), I have a slight preference for the 98th episode (you'll know why when you get there!) won't say more! ;) Take care and see you soon for another article! :) xxxx

October, Autumn

Dear readers, I hope you're OK since my last article, well, it wasn't so long ago...:) as for me, well, I don't know, but can't really say I'm fine when I'm not and have been a pack of nerves these last few monhts (since uni has finished)-you can see the previous articles-my mood has been playing russian mountains again, grr...leaving uni and starting a new chapter, as you might have guessed, isn't easy for me...I feel a bit lost and scrared most of the time...:( not that I'm alone but sometimes it feels like it. And I feel like I need to breathe; like I need some air...it can only come from me as it's my own choice, only everyone seems to look at me expectingly, wondering 'so, what do you want to do next?, I know they are interesting and it' s OK, even nice, though sometimes...well, how to explain? (sorry in advance if I repeat myself too much, hope you don't mind) a bit much...or something like that...(hope I'm clear enough). Hopefully, I might see things clear or have ideas coming along, putting all chances I can on my side. And thank you again for listening! I hope I don't bother you too much (smile) :) keep you posted, take care and see you soon for another article! xxx

A much needed cup of tea! :)

with some lovely books! :)
A good combination, don't you think? A special though for a dear friend (who will probably recognized herself) and her lovely&charming dog companion, miss them) ! It has helped me (and still do) lately! :) xxx

An extract

Dear readers, I hope you're OK (or at least slightly better than me...my mood seems to like playing russian mountains again, grrr....) anyway, don't want to bother you too much with all that...and today, I wanted to try something new! As you can see ; Hope you'll like it. So, just relax and read this extract:

After many cup of tea, desperatly trying to relax, Sally closed her eyes . It was impossible. She had just put down her last few bank statements, telling herself that it could be worse; many people before her, who had the same problem, had survived. She just had to cut back on things that didn't matter, to be more careful. She could also sell some her stuff that she never used or never wear more than once, right? After all, that was other people did or do when their financial hit a hard time. It wasn't uncommun she reasoned herself for the million time today. Then again, how could she succeeded? How could she get through when most of her families had always spend money without a care in the world, smiling as if everything would be fine.

Sally had first thought, even convince herself she wouldn't be like that. Not like her family did, as much as she loved them. After university, she had made a pact with herself, even promised she would be careful, put some money away every month for rainy days, just in case. It didn't last. As soon as the first jobs came along, it had been hard not to. There always good reasons, drinks with friends or colleagues, engagements party drinks, holidays, birthdays or christmas gifts, and many other (stupid) reasons. Taking a step back, Sally reckoned she shouldn't have spend so much. Her last bank statements proved it, one more time. She sighed. There might be other solutions such as borrowing money from friends (if they were to accept) or even her family, but she couldn't. First, there was her pride and second she didn't like to borough money from others. How long would it takes to fall on her feets anyway? And by the time, she would, they would probably sue her in the process demanding their money, or maybe stop talking to her altogether. So what was the point?

No, the only solution right now was to sell everything she possibly could, everything she didn't need anymore , everything that she could bare not to see or have around. Sally opened her eyes as she looked around to see what she could sell, making a mental list in her head. Maybe a few of her jewellery she had bought but was barely using, only for events (birthdays, weddings, work related events), bags she liked, shoes she bought every occasions she had, not really knowing why but they looked  good on her feet-well that was the sale assistant would say, especially when her credit card was out and ready to pay- or a few nice clothes, some were quite high-standards (she remembered having bought some Prada or Gucci because it had been on sale) but she might have to check first, some shops could be sometimes 'snotty' as her granny likes to call them. She smiled as she recalled her, the only member of her crazy family, that still had her head on the grounds. She missed her, it had been a while since she had last seen her. it might have been around Christmas if she remembered correctly. She decided to pay her a visit once everything had calmed down. That would be nice. And at least, she would see a friendly face! Sally needed it. A holiday would be even more relaxing. Yep, that would be good, she decided, real good! She closed her eyes again, as a headache had started again, despite an aspiring taken a few hours ago. it didn't help much as she heard her mobile phone ringing. Sally ignored it. Whoever this was, she didn't want to talk to anyone right now, she wanted to be left alone for a few hours. If it was important, they could call later or leave a message. She would call them back. Although,  if it was her boyfriend, or should she say ex-boyfriend, she really didn't want to hear about it. They had talked enough. If it was a member of her family (unless emergency) or her so-called friends, she didn't want to hear about them either. Once again, right now she just wanted some peace and quiet, not to think about anything else. She would do that tomorrow, once she had at least ten cups of coffee and gain a lot of energy. Until then, she didn't want to be disturb. Not that she wasn't sociable, but these days, she seemed to like being alone. She knew she had been used to go out either between friends or sometimes colleagues, seeing her family from time to time or going to a few party when she felt like it; otherwise, true enough, some peace was actually Ok.

Realizing over the past week that only real friend would be there for you no matter what, she had distanced herself from people she had considered 'friends' or at least 'potential friends'. Like they just appreciated her only because she was often buying drinks or giving a few gifts. Sally had done it less, seeing as her bank balance was heading towards 'bankrupcy' and had to be more careful. Since then, things had been different and they looked at her as if she was completly 'crazy' or 'from another planet'! How did that happened? Well, Sally had given up understanding. Had they been friends, like they pretended all along, they wouldn't have done that. but they weren't, they hadn't been friends. Crazy enough, she didn't miss it and felt quite relieved. Maybe losing her boyfriend, with whom she had made plans had hurt a little; nonetheless, she didn't care much. No amount of vodka, wiskey, martini, tequila or wine, included many other cocktails or alchoolic beverage, would eraised that anyway. So, what was the point? Actually, he hadn't invaved her thoughts much lately and she barely acknowledge him now. She was free. And she would stay like that for a while, no more dating. she had enough on her plate at the moment and didn't need a distraction. Once things had calm down she would take a long holiday; the rest would follow. Date or no date. You could be perfectly fine without having a men in your life for a while, plenty of women were doing it. Plus, she wasn't the only one being single, that was OK with her. She just hope her granny would stop 'nagging' her from grandkids every time she saw her saying she getting 'old'. Sally would  like to have children, she loved them but only when the time was right. and first thing first, you had to find the right man. And they didn't grow-up on trees!
Sally smiled softly, still closing her eyes, hoping that the person calling her or mostly harrassing her with phone calls would stop. Opening her eyes again, she sighed as she took her phone ready to hang-up, even turn it off, just to stop hearing it, when her eyes stopped the number calling. Frowning and very hesitantly, she answered. 'Allo?'

To be continued....
It was just an idea for a story (I'll find the title later), an extract if you prefer, (probably many revised versions will follow lol, but I wanted to share this one with you). I hope once again that you will like it and would want to know more once you've read it. So, enjoy! P.s= a warm cup tea is recommended! :) And sorry in advance if I missed words or did some mistakes, it's quite late and my eyes are closing themselves...Take care and see you soon for another article! xxx

En vadrouille-Part 1

Dear readers, I hope you're OK as it has been a few weeks now but I really needed to take some time for me (still do actually but it will do for now and hope to do it again soon enough as these past weeks or maybe months haven't been easy) my mood is stable I could say for now...it depends...
In the meantime, I'll keep you posted as I go along and thank you again for being here and listening. Without knowing it, or at least before, writing on this blog, lately, has been helpful on how I felt and still feel most of the time...like a refuge, a friends that won't judge you, will be there whenever you need..., whether you want to smile, share something meaningful or important, laugh or cry, it's here! :)

Anyway, as mentioned above, I took some time for me and went away, it did me good and strangely enough (or not^^) I didn't want to go home (smile), it was really nice and felt I could breathe again, enjoy the sunny weather of the South of France, see people I care about and love, to clear my head to sum up! And nothing definite yet, but I hope to do it again soon! :) While waiting to do that, here are a few pictures on my little trip! I won't put too much (as i've taken many pictures) but still here are a few then! :) Enjoy and relax! Maybe it'll also give you envy to do the same, whether it's only for a day, a week-end or more than a day...:)

Lorgues (Var, 83), small and lovely town that I was glad to discover! :)

Cotignac (Var, 83) lovely, isn't it? :)

TourTour (Var, 83)  (yes, lol, it's the name!), really lovely medieval town! :)

A lovely view in the same town, ToutTour :) nice, isn't it? could look at it for hours! :)

St Raphaël (83) , the sea and the sun, it makes you dream of swimming and reading a book on the beach! :)

Lovely pictures, isn't it? That was the first part of my trip! And the next part, was to go to Lyon (69), also a really nice city, that I didn't very well and was happy to discover! :) I got to visit 'La Basilique de la Fourvière' (lovely church, especially inside, with many decorations!, 'le quartier du Vieux Lyon' as well, really lovely to be 'lost' in these lovely (hum...I seem to like that word^^), streets and nice shops! you could stay for hours! :) and to finish this visit, by eating a nice ice cream! :) I also got the chance to visit Pérouges (a medieval town), not very large, quite small but many charms! And it was sunny, even better! :) Next time, I'll come back and visit 'La Croix-Rousse, which I've heard, is quite nice too! :) Pictures of that second part will be up soon (either tomorrow or in just a few days)! :)
Take care and see you soon for another article! xxx :)

Going away...

Dear readers, how are you? Hope going back to work or working is not too hard at the moment and that everything is well! :) at least, a little better than me, I'm sorry to say that lately my mood hasn't been great...(hope I'm not bothering you with all that as I must have told several times during these past few months...but thanks anyway for listening...:) and is still not great, I'm afraid...:( grr...I don't like it!
And today, just a little article, attached to a lovely picture I wanted to share with you, it's actually a postcard I received not long ago and I quite like it! :) Maybe it will help, going away for a little while, take a deep breathe and concentrating myself better on what I want or would like to do. (smile discreet)

Nice, isn't it? Makes me think  of lavendet and their really nice perfume! :) 'unless it is? (rire)
Take care and see you soon for another article (I hope to be more joyful) ! xxx

Summer ends and September begins....

Dear readers, how are you? Hope you're all OK and that everything is alright with you since my last article. Or at least, well I won't bother you too much with that, if you have read my previous article you are aware of how I felt/feel during these past few weeks, or more like months..., let's say my mood is more or less the same and am quite starting to apprehend this next few weeks...
As you know, it's now September , letting place to the Autumm soon enough, where the tree will start to feel slightly naked without their leaves, the flowers will also feel like that, and the nature will go into hibernation during the winter months, while we as well will start to wear warm clothes, with many scarves, gloves, et bonnets...hoping not to catch a cold and feeling sick because of the weather, eat soup, drink a lot of hot beverages (hum I think Sheldon from the Big Bang Theory would be really happy to hear that! lol!) such as coffee, hot chocolates, or cup of Tea....with good books, which you can't stop reading, turning every pages with more impatience, wanting to know what going to happened next,  in front of the fire, hum nothing better I'd say, don't you think? Well, OK it will be cold outside and I'm not fond of the winter either, prefering Spring and Summer like any other person, but that at least one of the advantages of Winter, despite the long night, because it will fell early than in the Summer. And there is Christmas...lol^^ anyway, I guess every seasons can have its advantages, despite cold, rain, or snow...or any weather we can have...:)
Thanks again for following me and listening, I appreciate it and hope I don't bother you too much (lol) , will keep you posted during the next few weeks, if I have time. Take care, see you soon for another article! :) xxx

Feeling safe

Dear readers, hope you are all OK. Today just a short article won't be too long as I know I have been telling you a lot about how I feel lately and what has been going on. Feel more or less the same and thanks for those who have been there despite annoying you with my problems lol anyway in the middle of all that there are a few things that keeps me going and helps me whenever I need, that are here for me, that also helps me escape from time to time and make me feel safe in some ways, I can't really explain it but I love this feeling no matter what people would or could think, it has always been there for me... it is here whenever I am reading, writing or watching movies that I like... plunging myself in another (slightly) imaginary world... making my imagination going...giving me ideas as well or simply relaxing me. I can't help but love that feeling. There is also another thing that really helps me ( but shush, keep your lips sealed, this is a state secret) hum I wonder if I should tell you
now...lol hum hum sorry to keep you waiting... lol well what do you think? Oh well I am trusting not to tell or revealing that secret to anyone else!!! Ready? Lol well the thing or actually I should say who... this person was/is a really great author no matter what people could say
I still love her and is never too far  and one of the time she has been here was a few months ago when I was writing my dissertation which was about her and the romance in her novels (by now you might have guess whom I am talking about? ) and well I was stressing as the deadline was approaching... ( just like I am doing today but for as you know different reasons) and I just started reading one of her famous book: which one do you think ?  oh I really think that by now you have probably guess.
No? Lol anyway let's get to the point the book that I started to read that day was of course the one and only... Pride and Prejudice! And whitout really explaining it I really felt great, felt and still feel safe, better. I am simply in another world. Nice don't you think?  she is still here whenever I need and you have guess that it is Jane Austen!  And to think I wanted to write only a short article... lol never mind always a pleasure to share things with you. Thank you again for listening to me and for being here. Take care and see you soon for another article. XXX

in need of relaxation

Dear readers, hope you are OK and are having a good summer whatever you are doing. Well, for me as you already know by now, my mood lately has been quite low, playing Russian mountain... and I don't like it much... so many things in my head... am stressed and a pack of nerves.I did not know it could be possible, going so fast and the next thing you know, you're growing up already.it is a good thing I know as we are all doing that one day but it is also overwhelming.
Everyone is looking at you expecting you know or have at least an idea of what you would like to do, or just wondering because they care about you but sometimes you still feel a bit lost and trying not to panic. It feels like a big step towards independence, it is also natural I guess, who wouldn't want that? It is nice and once you have figured out what you want/ would like to do, you must feel quite free and like a weight has been lifted. hum, that sounds good... let's try and stay positive... I hope that once again it will be OK. Just need to be reassured in a way. Anyway sorry to bother you with all that . Helps to write about it, thank you as always for listening. Hope everything makes sense as it is getting late and my eyes are closing themselves... and sorry in advance for any misspelling
Take care and see you for another article XXX

Film quotation-1

Dear readers, as usual, hope you're all OK since my last article! As for me, not much change, depends of the day actually, some days it's OK (more or less) and others, less but what can you do? lately, my mood (as you already know by now) has been playing russian mountains, grr...I don't like it very much either and hope to get throught it soon...am still a pack of nerves and quite stressed! But I won't worry or bore you with all that too much (see previous article), I just wanted to share with a film quotation (I know that I've probably seen that movie, I don't know how many time-but it's like books I'd say, when you're really like them, no matter how many times you're reading or watching them, well, (smile), it's doesn't matter, you don't have the impression to have seen it/them so much, as if you had only discovered it/them yesterday! what I found great is that it doesn't get old, not one bit! :) and you'll probably recognized this film by just reading this famous sentences (hope it's faithful, it's quite late, sorry in advance). moreover, I would have hoped to put a picture to illustrate it, expect I'm afraid I still can't, technologies and me, equals two sometimes! lol anyway, in waiting, here is the quotation (I still love it and simply want to melt, don't you? despite watching this movie a hundred times at least lol): 'I'm just a girl standing in front of a boy, asking asking him to love her'!!!! (Anna Scott played by Julia ROberts) Isn't that sweet? :) and now you must have guess that it comes from 'Notting Hill'! if you are as addicted as me to romantic comedies and happy ending! :) please do enjoy them without moderation and no restriction! :) see you soon for another article, take care, xxx

Re-lecture

Dear readers, hope you're all OK! Sorry to ask you that questions most...er...well, quite often actually (lol) but I like to start an article by asking how you are...I think it's of course more polite but also nice, don't you think? :) anyway (apparently once again a word I use very often!), where was I? Ok, well, my mood is more or less the same as you probably already know by now if you have been following the last articles I've written. I won't be too long today, nor will I bother too much with that...I hope! :) not always easy to...plunge yourself in a whole new world, quite impressive sometimes, at least it's what I feel at the moment! so, if you have seen the title of this article, you've been probably (or not and already have an idea?), wondering what this is about? well, as you are aware by now...I love reading books, it always there for me whenever I need (same for my writing, which also gives me ideas for new potential stories)! it allows me to escape, to find a few hours of peace, to forget my many worries (especially now), I love losing myself in another 'world' for a moment, to imagine how characters are, how they live...and many other things (see articles in relations of books, there are many lol, can't get enough of them!!!) and I know that I read a lot (if you would see all the books I've got, you'll probably think I'm crazy^^) and sometimes it also happens that when searching for new book to read, I re-read some...(sometimes I've already re-read it!) but it never gets old! and you then know that no matter (same as the movies, see once again article 'no matter how much..') you still like to read them again, and you're still loving it! you can't really explain why you do it but never mind! :) another clue that tells you, the author is really good, always impressed and often wonder how they do it? sometimes it so good that you really can't stop reading it (or re-reading it), you have to know what happens next as you are turning the pages, this feeling of impatience appears and you can't help but form your own theories and discovering what are the author's idea(s)! :) great, isn't it? on that note, I'll leave you for now and hope to see you soon for another article! take care, xxx

Lost

Dear readers, hope you're OK, at least better than me lately, as you might already know by now if you have been reading my articles for the past few weeks and sorry to bother/annoy you with all that, don't mean to and would prefer to talk about something else, I assure you, like the book I've been reading or the stories I'm writing or would like to write one day, to talk about the sun that have been visiting us more often lately or holidays or friends or a few close members of family that I miss, or movies I've been seeing or seeing again and again (see 'No matter how much...'article for example)or talk about anything else for that matter, but apparently I can't yet...my mood has been low and still like to play russian mountains...grrr, I don't like it! still the problem of being able to find a job, now that uni has finished in May. It may sounds simple, just like some people might think it is either because they are less scared than me and it seems like the most natural steps (which is true) or maybe they're used to it...but for me it still not that simple, it feels like a giant step towards...my indenpendance! I'm panicking! and always wonder how those people do it? they make it sounds like it was nothing less than sending a letter in the post or something similar like taking breakfast in the morning or getting up or drinking a cup of tea/coffee/hot chocolate or doing some shopping...! when (for me) it is not! regularly feels like (sorry for the repetition!) a fish lost in the big ocean wondering which direction to go! still trying to figure out what to do and not to panic too much! when actually I'm...not excuse I guess but just what I feel! Hopefully, I probably will get through all that...and will try to be positive! thanks again for taking time to listening to me and hope you still have some pleasure reading this blog as much as I enjoy writing articles for the past three years and a few months now...! see you soon for another article, take care and have nice holidays! xxx

What to do?

Dear readers, I hope that with that fine weather we had lately ,you're OK and are enjoying it wherever you are, whatever you're doing, holiday (or soon to be) or still working (then good luck to you!) As you probably already know, lately my mood has been low, playing russian mountains...well, not much progress there...I (still) don't sleep very well, I'm stressed, worried and still feels like a fish in a big ocean...I won't repeat myself too much or by now (lol) I'll have already bored you! :) in any case, this blog often helps sometimes, not matter how much I wrote the same things or tries to share with you different subjects...even though I'm still wondering how much longer I will continue it...or whether I'll write as much as I do...it's here if need...maybe not the same I guess as to really confide into someone (friends or family) but it kinds of helps me...as writing has always helped me and still does when I don't know what to say exactly...well, I have my writing...(smile) anyway, where was I? Yes, my mood and what still (oups also a word I seemed to use often^^) troubles me...I guess we are more or less the same when we finally leave uni to go into the 'real' word and to become indenpendant...it is very appealing as you can do whatever you want and not have someone to tell you what to do...but for me...it is scary...maybe once I'm in it, it will be fine...but for now...I'm...(trying not use the same word again...^^)maybe I should buy a synonyms dictionary in english, that would be quite helpful...lol, yet trying to figure out how to get through things, telling myself it'll be OK...not easy...but let's stay positive?! Thank you again for being here and listening to me (hope I don't bore you too much!) see you soon for another article (hopefully more joyful!),take care, xxx

Summertime

Dear readers, hope you're OK, I know that I probably ask you the same question everytime lol and sometimes just like me, one time is enough, though it doesn't mean it not too bad when someone ask you if you are fine, no matter how many times...it still nice to have someone or several person thinking about you, no?:) anyway, we have just started this new month, july! crazy as the time can pass quite quickly! and of course, the summer still makes us waiting impatiently, to be in swim suit on the beach or in the swimming pool with a good book and don't forget the sunscreen (don't be too lazy, I know but the sun can sometimes be wicked!! ) let's hope the sun will be here soon, despite of course making a few apparition...! well, we also need rain and water...but sun is still nice!!! :) anyway (probably a word you must have noticed I used quite often lol) just a short article...I don't know when I'll write a new one! lately, my mood has been playing russian mountains...and despite being getting used to it, it's still slightly annoying! :) many things in my head, uni is now finished, still strange sometimes, like something is missing lol! in the meantime (sorry again if I repeat myself too much, I'll be brief!) trying to figure what to do next, still scary and stressful for me...feel a bit lost and don't know what direction to take...! I suppose it is not abnormal...but I don't know...in any case, let's stay positive! :) and thank you again for listening to me! hope I don't boring to much! lol take care and see you soon for another article! xxxx

Thoughts-4

Dear readers, as usual I hope you're all OK and that everything is fine! :) just a short article today, as for me and since my last article...I'm Ok I guess, nonetheless my mood still love to play russian mountain...still many things in my mind...can't help it, my head is full of thoughts, don't sleep very well...and still scared about what to do next...(sorry if I repeat myself or annoy you but it helps to write about it nonetheless...)and adding to that...I'll be soon going back to France for the summer...can't help it but crazy as it is...I once again really want to stay in England...I like it very much here...I can't imagine being anywhere at the moment...(don't worry I'll always love France! :) I've started packing and god It's harder than imagine...it's just like the end of a chapter...just waiting to start a new one, hopefully soon and to be back in England...! :) I'll keep many and fond memories and from uni as. It was really great and I've learned so many things, I won't forget it! :) despite the stress with essays, exams, assignments...or deadlines...it was really worth it! :) I'll also miss the sea...to hear the wave coming and going, hearing the seagulls or having the wind brushing your face...or when the sun is up, just warming you...:) and all that soothing you, relaxing you...whenever you need...I'll miss my (crazy) roomates and the joie de vivre of the house I lived in for the past three years! the The small cities of Bognor Regis and Chichester might have been smaller compare to London but they also have their charms and are quite agreable too! :) I enjoyed it! :) on that note, not knowing whether I'll be writing before I leave, probably doing many packing and cleaning for the next person to claim (my) room...can't believe it, going to miss it of course! :) I'll leave you and see you soon for another article! :) take care, xxxx

Thoughts-3

Dear readers, hope that, as usual, you're all Ok and that the weather has improved! :) as for me, well...I could say I'm fine, I'm but lately my moood seems to like playing russian mountain again! many things in my head...as you know maybe already...uni is now finish and still can't believe it sometimes...seems crazy as these past three years have gone so fast but it is also good as I can easily say there were really great despite deadline for essays, exams and the stress attached to them...I couldn't have ask for better! I will miss it...! but a new adventure will start soon...I hope and to stay in England a bit longer if I can, I really like it here! :) in the meantime, this new adventure is still scaring me (see previous articles) sorry for annoying you with all that (smile) it just that with uni ending I guess it makes it more real...feel like a fish lost in the ocean, seems like a big step... anyway, it should be OK, let's stay positive, right? :) a part from that, I've still have my family, friends (whom of course I miss every day) whom I also know are not too far away, and listening to classical music with a good book (which lately I do a lot!), a nice walk on the beach with the sun warming you...listening to waves and the seaguls, nothing better! on that note, take care and see you later for another article! xxx

Classical Music

Dear readers, how are you? You seem to be in luck lately lol as you can probably see...I didn't wait to long to write another article...anyway, today will be just a short one...as you might have guess (see title) I'd like to talk about classical music! Well, I'm not an expert per say and certainly don't know how to read a music partition...always been a mystery to me, even when we learned at school a long time ago, but then again teacher thought (stupidely!) that we were already able to read and play...well they were a bit wrong...because in my case (or maybe others like me) I didn't know!! since that day, well, I still don't! and I guess, unless I take the time to learn...which should be complicated...it will be a mystery! :) but don't worry it's not a problem and it doesn't mean I don't like to listen to classical music from time to time! on the contrary,I find it very relaxing and mostly very soothing, don't you? Modern music can be nice and also like to listen to it but sometimes it takes my head off with all that noise...depending on what I'm listening of course, as sometimes it can be relaxing as well but classical music is just...I don't know...it makes me imagine how people could dance on it...you can find yourself lost it in...you don't always need lyrics...you can easily imagine how it works by just letting your imagination run by itself...no? :) on that note and maybe letting your imagination wander around by just pluging yourself in this soothing music or just on how people could dance...listening to classical music, or simply closing your eyes and feel the music, take care and see you later for another article! :) xxx

Books&Me

Dear readers, hope you're OK! You're in luck lol it is, I think, the fourth article this months, maybe it is due because these past few days, the sun (hoping it will last) seemed to have reappared a little despite the fresh temperature! :) anyway, always happy to indulge you with an article, whether it is a short or a long one...! :) I've been thinking a lot about this blog, as it has been three years already that I've got it and don't worry I've no regrets! :) I don't yet but probably one day it will be time for me to 'close'it and do something else...just a thought for now I reassure you but lately I've got the impression of having...how to say..? Hum...of having saying pretty much everything...(unless I forgot some subject I could share with you?) and just turning in circle...if you see what I mean? Between movies, books, place I've been, or...subjects I like to talk about(what's drive me crazy, what I like or don't like)...or how I feel...well, nothing definite yet...:) just an impression!:) will keep you posted in any case! And now, before boring you with that...(rire) today I wanted to talk you about you books! Yes, I lknow, by now you're probably thinks I'm crazy to love them so much!!! but it can't be helped! I simply love them...and if you have been following my blog for the past three years...and a few months, you are probably already aware of that! (lol) they are always there whenever I need, always ready to distract me,to let my imagination go, to inspire me, to give me new ideas for any future stories I might want (and would like to) write one day..., they make me smile, laugh and cry at the same time, whether I'm in the mood or not, I know I can always turn to them as crazy as it might seems! I can't live without them, just being around them makes me happy, to turn the page, to imagine how the characters are, to be see the words written, to read them again and again, to react at what the authors is saying to us, whether we agree or not, to want to 'kick' some characters ass, to feel or wanted to help the good one (hero or heroine!) to just plunge yourself in the stories for a while, forgetting how many hours pass, or to forget about your worries or what you have to do for a little while, to escape...:) nothing better! don't worry, I'm aware...that you eventually have to come back to the real world but sometimes it is always nice to take time to read a few page and distract yourself, no? which why sometimes with all the excitement around Kindle and all these portable books...such as I-Pad or any useful tablets...I'm afraid it won't be completly the same and wonder whether books will survive? I think it will...I'm not an expert but if books have been published for...what? At least 200 hundred years or so, I don't really know...why shouldn't it stay that way? maybe books and e-books can learn to live together, as they seem to do until now? let's hope so! call me old fashion but I still love a real books even though a Kindle (or any other brand) can have a useful side...as it's quite easy to travel with...but for me nothing will replace the feeling of a good book when you can help but not put it down until you have finish it! :) anyway, I will do a short version of a Bookholic soon...maybe in a few weeks...I can't write about all the books I've read or this time you'll think I'm really crazy (lol) kidding! it is just a bit long and it takes time, that's all...mostly why I don't do it very often I guess...never mind it doesn't change the fact that I love books! but you already know that, don't you? (smile discreet) :) so, see you soon for another article, take care, xxx P.s= as usual sorry in advance if I forgot a word, or if mispelled something...I try to re-read myself but it happens that I can forgot...to corret it or don't see it right away...anyway, enjoy! :)

Marvel-lous

Dear readers, hope you're all OK. Lately, the weather has been changing, despite the return of the sun and we don't really know how to dress but hopefully, it will improve as the summer arrives! Not to worry! :) anyway, I won't annoy you with that subject lol or I guess you will bored before the end! so, today, just wanted to talk about Heroes! (No, not the tv show)...as you might have guess by seeing the title...I'm talking about the Marvel Heroes (Iron Man, Thor, Captain America or Avengers...and many others), which has recently invaded our cinema or tv screen, or probably will follow in a few months! You can't help it despite their fault or for some their ego demesuré...we still love them! whatever happens, they still grow on us, they still show us that there is a better world and I don't know about you, but I still love when they kick the bad guy(s)ass! or don't give-up! :) and cliché or not, it doesn't really matter...you simply can't enough of them and look foward to see other movies! :) on that note, I will leave you, take care and see you soon for another article! :) xxx P.s= sorry, still not able to put some pictures, or highlight some title/paragraph...unless you know how to do it! lol but I'm not really a technology or computer expert! :) so, for now it will have to do. xx

No matter how many times you are watching them...

Dear readers, first and as usual, how are you? And you're probably wondering what the title of this article is about, no? Or you have already guess and bravo! :) anyway, this article is about movies, that no matter how many times you watch them, you simply can't help it! there are always here for you, whenever you need, whenever you want to laugh or cry, whenever your mood is up or down, you know where to find them, a bit like books! :) There are of course many movies that I could list, but I'd say, that my favorites (and there are a lot..hehe so I'll only list the main ones or I could write a novels!^^) so here it is (hope you'll like them as much as I did!): 'When Harry met Sally', 'you've got mail', Sleepless at Seattle', 'Princess diaries (1&2)', 'Pride&Prejudice (BBC adapatations)',Brief Encounter', 'The philiadelphia story', 'it's a wonderful a life", some of well-known Audrey Hepburn's movies (Breakfast at Tiffany's), 'Bridget Jones's Diary (1&2)','Sense&Sensibility'(movie and BBC adaptation), 'Emma' (movie and TV adapttions), 'Northanger Abbey' (ITV adaptation, 'North&South'(BBC adaptation, though the book is better), 'Jane Eyre' (TV adaptations or movies) and probably many others...! :) once again, no matter how many times you're watching them or no matter how many times you are analyzing the dialogue, what happens around the main characters, or looking at their expressions, you still can't help it!! You simply love them! You can't stop laughing or crying every single time! you can also play some scenes over and over again in your head, or wondering if you'd do it differently or just as the director of the movie did! these movies are simply, great, fun, refreshing, always there when you need the most! :) that 's what I like (love) about them, don't you? and whether you're more interested in actions movies, thriller, comedy, romantic comedy or any other genre, you always have a good time watching them! Great, isn't it? :) on that note, I'll leave you and see you soon for another article! :) take care, xxx

Sunny May :)

Dear reader, hope you're OK! I didn't know I'd write an article so soon (rire) maybe it's due to the lovely sun we have today, that makes me want to to go outside, take a transat, a good book, my sunglasses and do nothing else but relax! I'm looking foward to see the summer, do you? :) just to be in the garden around flowers and the grass under our feet or simply go to the sea and enjoy the fresh air! :) But I won't be too long. Just wanted to say hi. Still a few essays and one exam left before uni ends; I still can't believe it! Crazy as the time pass, maybe once again a proof that I really enjoyed myself! :) will miss it I think (rire) Anyway, take care and see you soon for another article! xxx

Un petit mot...

Dear readers, hope you're OK since my last article! sorry not to have written before now but I needed to do a break if you want, I still do as I've got work left before the end of the terms and things to think about such as what I'd like to do after uni, which is still a question I've to answer... Anyway, just a little hi hoping once again that you're alright! Also to say I'm not forgetting you, (I've probably say this a million time, but I only like to write when I'm feel like to, when I'm inspired. Otherwise, whats the point? :) I also wanted that...I've probably-well I always say it but...never mind...she is one of the best and always there where I need...she has written great books and since I've discovered her...I can't help it...she is and was great, clever and witty...by now you might have guess whom I talking about, don't you? one last clue maybe...my dissertation was on her! Jane Austen of course! I just love it! :) the many viewings (lol) but never mind that! of the BBC adaptations of 'Pride and Prejudice', as well as the book (and her other books , their nice adaptations too ) can account of that! :)I don't get tired of it! :) what can I say? On that note, I'll now leave you and see you for another article(probably in a few weeks). We'll see! In the meantime, take care! xxx

Pause and Missing Princess

Dear readers, hope you are OK as usual and that everything is fine with you! :) Just a short article today as I don't really know when I'll be writing again. Don't worry, this blog is still running (smile), I may just make a small break for a while. I don't forget you and if I've got time and if I'm inspired there will be of course another article! Nonetheless, these past few weeks I've been quite busy and will be for the next two months...lately as I've probably told you a million times (lol) and probably repeated myself a lot (lol) I've quite a lot in my mind! My brain doesn't stop thinking (not that I complain) just sometimes you want to relax...well, as uni will be over in May, I'm quite, well, if I'm honest with you, very stressed. I'm trying not to be but knowing myself...I'll only relax when the stress is over! :) anyway, thank you for listening to me as always, hope I'm not annoying or boring with you that! (smile) :) in the meantime, I'm currently writing a short story, which I'm really enjoying) even if short means you can't tell everything, you have to be efficient, 'less is more', I quite agree and it's quite normal (goes the same for w a novel as you could probably write many pages or a all novel! :) but sometimes you have to make some choice, not always easy...but hey...in the end I think you can get there! :) you just have to find the right direction. Well, where was I? yes, my short story (sorry in advance I won't say much as I prefer to keep a bit a suspens first! I might release a bit more later. We'll see, as for now I'm only drafting and am still debating about the end of the story. The plot is quite basic. This time I was inspired by a really great movie (seen recently) with great actors -known as Gregory Peck and my favourite Audrey Hepburn!- and now you might have already guess which movie I'm quoting here! yes, it's Roman Holiday!!! I love that movie and every time I'm watching it I still like it! as if I was seeing it for the first time! :) it's a really great movie and you're still frustrated (even if you respect Princess Ann (played by Audrey Hepburn) for returning to her family and her duties!) you can't help it as you still want the two main characters to end-up together!!! :)to return to my plot now, my princess is called-well Anne-actually didn't do it on purpose I think lol^^- and the 'prince', her romantic interest is called Mark. Anne is fed-up with her princess duties and she can't take it anymore. She really needs a break. Nevertheless, until now by respect for her families, she hadn't thought of actually running away! Until her Granny (who is also her confident and knows what she's going through) convinces her to run away-not forever- but at least to take the day off, which Anne decides to do! And here she goes, incognito, wearing casual clothes in the London's streets! For most of the story, Anne stays anonymous and enjoys her day of freedom! That's when she accidently meets Mark, by bumping into him-she spells coffee in his shirt! :) their romance takes shape here! And I won't tell you more, nonetheless, I can safely tell you that they will end-up together! I've the where-the how and why are still being figured out at the moment. Any ideas or suggestions is of course welcome! :) And here we go, I only wanted to write a few lines, lol!! never mind, I like to spoil you from time to time! take care and see you soon for another article! :) xxxx

And March...:)

Dear readers, hope you're OK since my last articles! for me well,...not to bad...but lately I'm awake early (between 7am and 8am mostly), even my brain seems to work during that time.I can't stop thinking and as the months pass, my stress level starts to go up. In a nutshell I've a lot things in my mind (still, sorry if I repeat myself),these past few weeks and it's going to be more or less the same; at least until uni will finish in May. can't believe it either! :) so nothing better that to hang in there, hoping everything will be fine! Fortunately, I know my family& friends (whom I miss both very much) are not too far away! Moreover I've always got my lovely books, cups of tea and many re-runs of FRIENDS (lol I can't remember how many times I've watched them again and again but I don't care, they really cheer me up, whenever I need! :) and also lovely walks on the beach to make you relax just by hearing the waves! :) anyway, just a short article today, as we starts a new month! The weather? less rain but it's (slightly) cold and less sunny..miss the sun (most of the times!) Looking foward to Easter break and all the lovely (not good for the weight lol) chocolate, miam, miam! :) good luck for everything and see you soon for another article! :) take care, xxx

Brontë and cinema

dear readers, well you know me by now and I often start by asking you how you are! so, how are you? And a bit of cinema today as I went to see a funny comedy named 'I give it a year'! :) really fun and fresh movie, a lot of humour, you'll have a good time and it's not too long! lol anyway, the story follows a couple who just got married and we see them through their first year of marriage! not too complicated and the perfect ending! won't tell you more but I think you'll like it! all the ingredients are there! good actors and humour à la British! :) no, it's a good movie and I had a good time watching it! Anyway, in the Brontë's sisters, there is of course Charlotte Brontë and this time, it's about Villette, her last novel, following the story of Lucy Snowe! it's based on Charlotte Brontë's experience and life for a while at Brussels (fiction town named Villette!) I apologize, I can't tell you more as I've got trouble reading it and didn't read the entire book! you have some difficulties to identify with Lucy Snowe, she is quite secretive and like to hide the readers the truth, not really reliable! she is not a bad girl and might have some good intentions...but I don't know...well, it's my opinion! I may have not read it entirely it nonetheless seems to be a good book! I now call, Anne Brontë! strangely and I was quite surprise actually...you'll notice that there are more books on Charlotte and Emily Brontë! it's like Anne is on their shadows, which is quite true apparently! I didn't know her quite well either before I recently discovered one of the two books she has written. And I'm thinking of reading later the other one! Only thing, Agnes Grey (the book I've read) was published at the same time with Jane Eyre and Wuthering Heights! Not easy indeed! But it didn't mean anything, she is as great as her sisters, and you get a happy ending! :) the story follows Agnes Grey (same as the title) a young woman who became a governess (it's based on Anne Brontë's experience as a governess) after her father has made a bad investement and she also wants to prove her family she can do it! Agnes is a really sweet girl who only believe in the best and full of good sense, and good intentions! She will work for the two families- the Bloomfield and the Murray! But no luck at first, both families are really horrible, especially the children! the parents are completly stupid, for not saying, believing their children should be spoiled and do whatever they want! Are they crazy? it's like discipline has completly gone out and poor Agnes is left alone to deal with them as much she can! even more stupid, the parents blame her for their children's behavior! I think they have bumped their head very hard to think that when Agnes really does her best to make it work! Fortunately, at she works at the Murray's, she will meet the one that will make her heart beat very fast, Edward Weston, a nice gentleman, who notices her and loves her for who she is!! they will be a few obstacles and for a while, Agnes thinks she has lost him, fortunately, she hasn't and they get married in the end! Agnes has left the Murray's and opened a school with her mother! A really sweet and touching story! to read absolutely! (if you haven't already!) and if you're interested as well: another book by Anne Brontë 'The tenant of Wildfell Hall'! All that makes me of course thinking about Haworth, town where the Brontë's lived and which I went 3 years ago, with a really good friend, (whom I also miss!) you don't forget it! you can see where they got their inspirations! good memories once again! :) And in the same circle of women's writers, who was also a really good friend of Charlotte Brontë, I name Elisabeth Gaskell! she has written many books including 'Wives and daughters'(haven't read it), 'North and South'(which I've read...a few years back...3 maybe...and it's really great! you should read it! I enjoyed it! there has been a Tv adaptations made, it's nice but sorry once again, the book is better! :) the book I wanted to talk you about is called 'Ruth', a sweet and touching story, I promise you you'll cry in the end! I was sad and couldn't believe it! Anyway, first..a (short) pitch! Ruth is young girl (she is 16 at the beginning of the story) She has no family, a part for a absent guardian who doesn't seem to care much about her. She is first working as seamstress. As the story takes place, she catches the eyes of a gentleman Mr Henry Bellingham. Captivated by her, when Ruth loses her job and home, he offers her his help, their love story begins. she is offered an another chance and she has someone to love! Unfortunately, the horrible man deserts her cruelly! (Men!) Ruth is therefore left alone! Nonetheless, she is offered a second chance as she meets the Bensons, brother and sister leaving together, who will not only help her, but offer her love and friendship! Only thing, soon after Bellingham's desertion, Ruth discovers she's pregnant! Nine Months later she has a lovely boy names Leonard! :) it's hard at first but as the years pass, Ruth becomes a strong and lovely woman! She will of course meet Bellingham again! And comes the questions of 'social acceptances and personal pride' as he had abandonned her! with no particular reasons! Many other events happen, maybe I won't tell you everything, it will be nice that you have some elements of surprise, no? the only thing I might tell you is that Ruth seems at first naive and completly lost (you sometimes wants to shake her a bit, but you then realize that she is quite young and has not mother or father to guide her, she has the tendency of relying on people a lot, until she has her child and got older! the transition is well written! As the previous statement I made (the crying part), it's stupid but I couldn't believe the end, after all she has been through, raising her child, findind work as a governess with actually nice children before her secret got out and loses her job! Not nice people! she was young and influencable! Ruth knows what she has done, she is aware of it! I just find it harsh to cast her out like that! society at the time was very judgemental! But after the scandal and the years have passed once again, Ruth becomes a nurse! sweet thing, she is really appreciated by the people she helps! There you go...lol, I find myself telling you the all story! (most of it) never mind, you'll still enjoy reading it! to come back to the end of that touching and poignant story...I was really surprised and was expecting something else! I get it's the author choice, it's not illogic but it's still sad! well, hope you'll still want to know more! Despite that, it's worth reading! :) I was glad to have discovered it! :) Anyway, it's all for today! It was nice to share it with you! I apologize in advance for any mistakes or mispelling, it's late and my eyes are closing themselves! hope it won't be too hard to read! However, it should mostly be OK, I think! take care and see you soon for another article, though I'm going to write maybe less as the months come, stress and all...well, you know me by now (smile discreet)! :) xxx

A walk on the beach

Dear readers, how are you? No, I'm not writing because we are the 14th of February..., nor because it's you know what, lol, I just wanted to write, that's all, no special occasion. I won't go and write many things on that subject, it's...well, you probably know it already (rire). I've nothing against it and if people want to celebrate it, they are of course free to do it! It's just that I'm not a fan...it's once again too superficial, too much and much more commercial than anything else, pushing to do this or that...sorry, not want to be a buzz kill or anything...it's just me I guess lol! Anyway, let's pass on that subject! It's not the main reason on me writing an article today! :) I wanted to put a photo or two but as I can't yet (problem not really resolved)well, it's not the end of the world either, slightly frustrating maybe but that's fine for now. I've other things in my mind, I know I've 'bored' you with that already (smile discreet) it's just as the months pass and I'm still panicking/stressing, trying to figure it out...trying to say it's going to be OK...I suppose it will, it might be just me as always...but hey what can you do? I think I'll go more regularly walking on the beach, relaxing as much as I can just by listening the waves coming and going, feeling the wind on my face, hearing the seagull and be warmed up by the sun, when it's here! :) add to that a good book, some music and splash of tea and there you go! :) just what I need! I will probably miss living by sea..and will enjoy it as much as I can, until the next adventure! :) have a good one and see you soon for another article! take care, xxx

And 3 years! :)

Dear readers, How are you? Hope you're all OK! And today, just a short article to wish this blog...3 years already! Crazy, no? :) Anyway, I won't be too long, just wanted to thank you as always for following me, listening to me whenever I write, whether it's about books, movies I've seen, a subject I want to share with you or simply how I feel, it helps in a way to put words on your feelings...I don't know why but for me writing, as much as reading books of course, it helps me whenever I need, especially now when I've many things in my mind...anyway (a word I seem to like^^), just once again to thank you for being here, for listening to me! :) good luck for everything! take care and see you soon for another article! :) xxx

Un peu de douceur-2 (or 3?)

Dear readers, As usual, I hope you're Ok despite the 'great' weather we're having lately, if not the snow, rain is now here! (well, we can't complain too much lol as I think we quite need water) but sometimes I've to say, I quite like the warmth of the sun, don't you? :) Once again I'd like to put some picture but for now I can't. And until I've figured it (which should takes some time, unless you have an idea of how to do it? But it's OK. For now, I've so many things in my mind, that i'm trying not to panic!! Indeed, we're already in February...and as you know already times fly by!! :) well, I'm not going to annoy with you that too much...it's more or less the same things as before...:) mood changes a lot but for now it's stable...Anyway, er...where was I? Yes, today...just a short article. And just a question: How do you know...the book you're reading is (really) good? 1) Of course, you can't stop reading it, you have to know the end of the story and what's going to happen next. 2) you like/love the author and enjoy reading her or his books. And 3) (or maybe there is other reasons) your cup of tea (or coffee) is...cold (lol) because you've simply forgotten it! juste l'idée du jour! :) There is also something I'd like to share with you. A subject, I haven't (or at least not often) talked about, simply because it's annoys me! in the sense where- sorry- let's start again-in a few days (or weeks?) well soon, it'll be Valentine's day! Well, sorry to disappoint you (rire) but I really don't like it! it's too superficial and...more commercial than anything! it's just too much! Every year, all the shops put too many things in their vitrine...pushing you to buy this or that...and...it's annoying!!! always the same blablah between flowers (well OK...^^), chocolate, champagne, postcards (well, OK too^^) and many other things that probably exist and that you can easily found...it's just a bit too much for me(once again). You're of course welcome to like it, it's just my opinion. I mean you get the idea (smile)! On that note, see you soon for another article (which should be next week when this blog will be 3! already!) take care! Have a good week! :) xxx

Pensées

Dear readers, Well, first and as usual (I think you might have get used to it by now lol) I hope you're all OK. I won't be long today, just wanted to write a short article to make you wait until the next one (which you should be in few weeks to probably wish this blog 3!) (although sometimes I say short but I intended to write more^^) anyway, for what I thought I'd add to this blog, I'm won't do it until I find a way (I'm not really good with computers and even if I do it, it will only be a big block of writing. Even if I put space and a good presentation, it won't appear like that. Furthermore, I still can't put some pictures when I could before, nor can I put link for you to follow...so, until I figured out how (which should be in a while) I can't do anything. Technology and me, not there yet lol! :) In the meantime, I recently discover that 20 years ago, a great actress named Audrey Hepburn was leaving us after making some really great movies such as Breakfast at Tiffany's, Roman's Holiday, Paris when it sizzles or Sabrina and many others! She was a great actress and you can't enough of her talent! She was simple and when she played, she really did! She seemed really implicated! I think she left a big space in the cinema business! Not that the actors or actress from today aren't good, they are. But at the time, movies were more made for the pleasure. Today, unfortunately, it happens that it is more about the money than anything else. And the quality of it, is then downsized. Let's it is more about quantity than quality sometimes. Not always, I reassure you. Just an impression I have! So just a little hommage to this great actress and everytime I watch them, (not recently but when I do) she is still great, as if you were watching it for the first time! :) Also, another hommage to a great writer this time(except she is a little more,(well quite) older than Audrey Hebpburn and her book too! Indeed (ot maybe you might have guess to whom I talking too?), 200 years ago, Jane Austen (one my favorite author, don't know what I'd do without her!) was seeing (hope it english enough^^sorry in advance) 'Pride and Prejudice' published!!! Crazy, isn't it? And to say, that this book is still quite popular today! (at least for me lol it is!) really love this book (and the others too of course, not to make anyone jealous! lol On that note, I'm going to stop there and as usual too, take care and see you soon for another article! :) xxx P.s= sorry in advance for any mispelling or mistakes, I try to re-read myself but I still can forget a few things as you might have noticed already, since I've started this blog! :) xxx

Les Misérables (2013)

Dear readers, Hope you're all OK. For me, not always that but I'm getting there. I'm trying not to panic, not to be too stressed but as months will be coming one by one, and so many things to think about...I'll probably be panicking, stressing and thinking a lot! That's me! :) Anyway, I...I'll stay positive as much as I can. In the meantime, I went to see a great movie today! Les Misérables! There has been probably many adaptations and a musical made, which has still a great sucess and I'm quite pleased! I've read the book a look time ago now...and don't completetly remember the story...but still there great actors and the songs are nice to listen...the story stays mostly faithful I think to the book..even though there has been some cuts...otherwise, it's quite nice and once you're plunged into the story, you can't get enough of it...:) Characters, deoors, dialogue (mostly sang) are quite a good mix...:) you have a nice time...! the film is indeed more than two hours but if you really like it, you don't see the time passing by! :) so, when it comes out, go and see it, you won't regret it (I hope lol)! :) I've also started to watch the season 3 of the famous Downtown Abbey! Just begun but still as great as the first two! you can't get enough of it! So, once more, if you didn't see it yet, just buy the dvd and watch it! lol :) (P.S= For what I've mentionned, in my previous article, I'm still thinking about it) Anyway, that will be all for today!Take care and see you soon for another article!xxxx

Winter

Dear readers, Hope you're all alright despite the (bloody)cold present since a few days, which make you envy to stay in...bed!!! (rire) For me, well, nothing much, as my mood is (read the previous article) changing...I'm sometime OK and sometimes less OK. I'm getting there but there is still some work to do and things to resolve...hopefully it should be fine (I really once again hope so!) Otherwise, in the line...of getting my mood better, I'm still reading as much books as possible (which help a lot), drinking warm cup of tea (yeah!!), seeing a few close friends whenever I can and whenever they can( also helps), going to the cinema ( Life of Pi or Populaire are really good if you're interested or if you like actions movies there is Jack Reacher (quite good but let's say I really prefer the books!), and also seeing other members of my family helps too! And I'm getting back to England in a few days...! :) can't believe it as the christmas holidays went quite fast in the end...as always! lol! :) I was also thinking...about something else to add to this blog (which will be 3 years old! next month!) I don't know yet, I keep the idea in mind and will see if I do it or not...! :) sorry for the suspens but I'm still deciding! :) Patience (smile) you will probably see it soon...:) Anyway, good luck for everything...and hope you'll bear the cold, but we can see that winter is really here! :) Sortez les écharpes, les bonnets, les gants, et les manteaux bien chaud! Couvrez-vous bien! :) See you soon for another article, take care, xxx

After

Dear readers, How are you? And of course Happy New Year again! Best wishes! :) Well, I hadn't planned to write before a few weeks but hey...always nice to find a new article, especially when it's the first article of the year (rire)^^ and these past few days haven't been...easy...I'd have hope otherwise but lately despite being home for the christms holidays...well, my mood tend to play russian mountain again...so many things at the same time and I feel lost in the middle of the ocean and don't know what direction to take, so many things to think about...I'm constantly worried between the fact that in a few months now uni will be over and am not really (unless it changed) enthusiastic to do a four year as a postgraduate student...and have to find something to do after...not that I don't have a choice, they are quite wide indeed (smile) anyway, I must have already talked about that in previous article...it more or less the same feeling of being scared...added to that time starts to fly!everything changes (smile) :) I suppose it will be fine (I really hope so!) with time and a lot of reflection and advice! :) Will keep you posted as I go along! there is also other things but won't put them here. Fortunately, there is a few things that always cheers me up such as seeing my friends (which lately is more irregular that anything else, I miss them!!) or watching a movie or reading book, which help keeping my mind of things for a while...or the story I'm currently writing...I might tell you more about it later...chut! will see! I still have to determine a few thingd such as what is the main character's job and which city they are leaving in (probably London) (smile) which will give me more substance, more to write. I have written a few chapters already but without more concreet things/details, it'll still be abstract. And I'd like to develop it more. It's a romantic comedy. But won't tell you more for now. And let your imagination work! (smile) See you soon for another article, hopefully it will be a bit more cheerful. Take care, xxxx
