To celebrate F.R.I.E.N.D.S 20 years anniversary! :)

Hello readers, not officially back yet, still things to figure out...

So, today, just a funny video (if it's not working, you can of course find it on youtube), it's not long but...for 236 seconds (yes I know lol) you will forget everything else, relax...and just...laugh! :)

To be more specific, it's related to the best of the best TV show...(see previous article): F.R.I.E.N.D.S!!! To promote their 20 years....:) it's the 236 episodes in 236 seconds...! Enjoy if like me they make you laugh, cry or smile every time you watch each episodes, between Monica who loves cooking, cleaning and controlling things, Chandler's jokes (that you don't always understand but still laugh at them), Joey's constant seduction and never calls the women back, and doesn't share food either!, Ross' jealousy towards Rachel when she happened to date or again laconic 'hi' every something's wrong; Phoebe's famous song 'smelly cat', her numerous exchange with her twin sister Ursula, and her funny ways, and finally Rachel, spoiled at first but changes under her friends influence, waitress at Central Perk then makes her way into fashion, she is from time to time also jealous when Ross is dating too...and of course before I forget: Janice and her famous 'oh my god!' and super annoying laugh! lol
They all have their own things, sometimes annoying but in the end you can't stop loviing them! :) Anyway, I probably repeat myself since my last article...never mind, I still love that TV show, it is always there when you need....:) a bit like Jane Austen, who makes me safe for some reasons, makes me believe everything will be fine in the end, I just have to be patient...:)

F.R.I.E.N.D.S is 20! :)

Hello readers, not officially back yet, despite several articles written these past few weeks but I couldn't help it. Today (as said in my last article) a great TV show that has let an important footprint in everyone's heart (especially mine) is officially...20 years old! Yes, you might have guess: it's FRIENDS!

And even though I myself discovered it slightly later (I was quite young when it started!)it feels like yesterday! :)
Plus, no matter how many times (like me lol) you're watching it, it's still makes you laugh and cry along with those funny characters that are Monica (likes to be in control, loves to clean), Chandler (always like to make jokes, even if you don't always understand them, hates thanksgiving), Ross (serious, in love with Rachel, more or less jealous and his famous laconic 'hi' when he's has something important on his mind), Joey (his famous 'how you're doin'?', and his legendary charm when it comes to women, never calling them back), Phoebe (quite eccentric, funny songs like the legendary 'smelly cat' and exchanges with her twin sister Ursula) and finally Rachel (spoiled at first but under Monica and the other's influence she changes for the better, waitress at first and later working in fashion making her own way). Each character has his or her own thing, sometimes annoying but in the end they all have a big heart and despite many arguments, they made up proving that friendship is one the most important thing in life! :)
So, it is10 seasons, more than 230 or maybe 240 (not sure but more or less), also a famous generic song, a famous coffee shop 'Central Perk', many guests stars....and many others thing..like Gunther (secretly in love with Rachel)^^! :)

I was of course sad when ten years ago, the show closed it doors but you know what? It's still here whenever you need....! :) like the song 'I'll be there for you...' as the beginning of each episodes!

For the fan, (well it will close it's door next month, it's only open for a limited time) but if you're in the NYC area, a version  of the Central Perk has opened! You re-visit it, drink coffee, sat on the famous couch, see several objects that the actors used (Phoebe's guitar for example, clothes the actors wore too...), and buy souvenirs (FRIENDS mug, tee-shirt....and many things!) A bit like a museum we could say!

Just for fun...! :)

And for those who don't know this TV show, it's never too late to discover it and for those who (like me already know it) never too late either to watch it again and again! :)

It had to be you...!

Hello readers, just a quick hi...won't be long on this Sunday!

Just wanted to share a music video...I recently finished a nice book called 'It had to be you' by Ellie Adams (recommended!) and it made me think of two things...

1) The famouns and unforgettable movie that all romantics (like me) love to watch no matter how many times...you might have guess: 'When Harry met Sally'!!!

2) The famous song (probably sang by many other singers already but the one for me is this one: 'it had to be you' by Harry Connick Jr! :)

As for the book, it follows the adventure of Lizzy, who is a PR and get unfortunately dumped at a pary, wearing a Henry VIII costume, by her stupid boyfriend. But that's not all...their break-up is filmed and then posted on Youtube, which suddenly get famous....
As the 'incident' more or less starts to pass , Lizzy meets the most cynical man on the planet...sparks fly and I let you guess the rest...it a nice, funny and refreshing book! I hope you'll like it too...:)

Anyway, that's it for today. Tomorrow, another quick article on a TV show that will offcially be twenty years old and that never  ceased to amaze and make me laugh whenever I need...!

Spoiler&news

Hello readers, not officially back yet, (am not forgetting you), will just write articles from time to time when I feel like it and if I'm inspired. But it will be quite irregular for a period of time.

The question of whether or not I will stop writing on this blog has entered my mind a few times (see previous articles), wondering whether I've still got things to tell and share with you after four years, and hoping you are still enjoying it of course...
For now, it is still running, despite the fact that I will write less as I'm still figuring things out, we will see that later on , how I feel about it...don't worry, nothing is set yet and I'll let you know when that happened.

Anyway, the story mentionned in my last article is still being developed (sorry it takes a bit more time) and postponed temporarily. To make you wait , here is a small spoiler: As you know, a couple of years ago, in my last year of uni, an idea for a novel came to me. This novel is mostly based and inspired by one of my favorite authors, Jane Austen and her famous novel 'Pride and Prejudice'.

Except I would like to change a few things and try not to copy her wonderful work. What I mean by that is that I've read many adaptations of this novel (good or bad depending on how it was written) and although I really love the story, I didn't want to write another one like other authors did before me...I want to try to hold on to the spirit and maybe keep a few elements of the story, but to make it different as well. The story is currently being developed, I've got some work to do before I find the perfect plot...(any idea is always welcome).
In the meantime, this story gave me ideas for other potential novels, with other characters (some will have previoulsy appeared in the first novel but not all of them). Here are the temporary title (some will keep theirs, some might change along the way) but just a little teaser as we could say...:) hope you'll enjoy it!

- 'The wedding kiss': Alex&Sarah (based/inspired by Pride and Prejudice) - Book 1
- 'Love with benefits': Lily (Alex's cousin, appears in The wedding kiss)&Sean - Book 2
-'With a little bit of persuasion' (temporary title): 'Laura (appears in Love with benefits)&Jack (brief appearance as well) - Book 3
-'Sparks & Bundle': Ian&Amanda (both characters appears in book 3) - Book 4
-'Title to find' : Alex's sister story (appearance in book 1 and 2 for now)& her love interest (have yet to find his name!) - Book 5
- 'Ttile to find': Lucy (Jack's sister, appears in book 3)& Fynn - Book 6
- 'A new beginning' : Matt (Amanda's brother, appears in book 4)&Amy - Book 7

And many more, with time, if I come up with other ideas for character(s)...we'll see all that as I go along...:)
