Quotation

Dear readers, first and as usual I hope you're all OK! :)

And today, just a short article, I won't be long. She is one of my favorite authors and whenever I feel down or just want to laugh...I think about this wonderful author and all the great books she has written, that are today still very much appreciated. Many other authors (wether you like them or not, depending on how they write their own stories or versions) have tried (successfully or not) to reproduce the same spirit...it's always entertaining and some are good and you always have a good time, no matter what! I'm the first to say it. But as always, I'd say, the original is often the best! :) And Jane Austen is one the best! Since I've discovered her, I can't get enough!! And you? :)

Anyway, I just wanted to share a quotation, from one of her famous books:

'Nothing could be more delightful! To be fond of dancing was a certain step towards falling in love.' Pride&Prejudice-from the book 'The Jane Austen Miscellany by Lauren Nixon (2012)

Enjoy and see you for another article! take care, xxx

A lot on my mind

Dear readers, hope you're all OK since my last article? :) And that going back to work or studies hasn't been to hard! :) Or if you need a tonic (just like me lately!), don't hesitate to take time for youself, to relax whether it's just a with a book, a warm cup of tea, listening to music, watching a funny movie or a romantic comedy, watching your favorite Tv show(s)-if you have several (not a shame!), or simply escape for a week-end (entre parenthése, going away at Christmas with my family has been really nice, to escape...was once more very beneficial and sometimes-even after being back for a few weeks now, I strangely miss it! Maybe because I haven't been doing that for a while now...so I hope to do so soon as lately I've been thinking a lot, hence having a lot things in my mind, playing with my mood...not always easy, as you are embarking in a new adventure, in a new...path...-if that means anything?!- ) hum where was I? Oh, yes, winter can...be winter, between cold and fresh temperature, night still falling early, less sun...and it can play on the mood...so don't hesitate to indulge yourself once in a while! :)

In the meantime, I'll keep you posted on what happens, though I don't when I'll post my next article-and it doesn't happen for a few weeks, please don't worry, I'm not leaving this blog yet...:) just taking some time off, thinking about I want and what I'd like to do! :) And I've recently met someone really nice that is helping me just do that! :) But I won't say more.

Moreover, I've also been suggesting that I could start another blog-different from this one(still thinking about it) where I'll be more focusing on my writing-talking about books I've reading, and once in while add some stories (whether it's a short one or a beginning of chapter)...! Quite exciting, though for now I'll see how I can do that and in which...hum...don't find the right word...never mind :) what do you think? If and when I'm doing this new blog, I'll keep you posted! Take care and see you for another article! :) xxxx

Bridget Jones 3

Dear readers, hope you're OK since my last article, which actually wasn't so long ago! :) I must like to spoil you (rire)! Well, as for me, I don't really know...it depends...sometimes I'm alright, sometimes I'm not...a bit like mood going up or down, depending on how I feel...but I don't want to bore you to much...:) though it helps to talk about it, or at least to write about it, a bit like therapy...putting how you feel as you write, putting words can sometimes help, it often works for me...:)

Anyway, just a short article, to talk about books! Don't worry, I won't be too long! Just to come back on the book I have recently read...and I quickly mentionned it in the last article! Yes, you must have guess by now...it's the last adventures of our favorite and famous Bridget Jones: Mad about the boy! I'd say I was quite surprised and in a good way, to reassure you, as I didn't know what to expect! Firstly, I was disappointed and slightly frustrated that our beloved Darcy had to be killed off...(hope once again I'm not revealing anything important...that you didn't know already!)...leaving Bridget alone with their two children, a boy and a girl, Billy (William Jr) and Mabel. It could have fallen into something cheesy or too cliché (if that means anything)...but it doesn't! And here we are finding our deat heroine threw into a world full of possibily as she will always miss and love her loving Darcy...(I miss him too, though it's well written) but also learns to move foward! :) it's really funny and refreshing...with of course a Daniel Cleaver, faithful to himself, along with her close friends as always, her mum, her loving children...all that wrapped up in a touching story! You can't keep reading it! :) Don't know how (if they do it) the next movie will be but they will certainly be expected...at every turn, especially if you have read the book before! :) Hope (if you have the chance) that you will enjoy it as much as I did! :) So, see you soon for another article, take care, xxx

A new year....!

Dear readers, first, how are you? Hope you had a nice holiday, as well as a nice and festive Christmas! :) And also once again, would like to wish you a Happy New Year, all the best for this new year that awaits us! :)  So, first article of the year....quite a challenge (rire)! :) Well, I'm not going to lie...I had a really nice Chritmas...as I had the marvelous and incredible chance to go in Cambodia, Vietnam and Hong Kong! Yes, 3 countries in 2 weeks! :) Still can't believe it, it was like a dream! It was really beautiful and yet all were different and full of charms in their own way! :) It also alllowed me to relax and enjoy some nice time with my family! :)

But as I came back, reality has kicked in and challenge(s) too...I'll be back soon in England, and all that awaits stresses me...I suppose we all go through something similar, depending on how you look at it...or on how different people are after all, I don't know, but once again (sorry if I repeat myself, hope that not a problem), finding a job...that seems a huge step...it's quite normal and being independant is quite attractive, it makes you grow-up...it's just that lately...well, I must have talked about it on this blog last year a few times already...in a nutchell, I find it scary, though once you have begun, it might get easier, and you find yourself plunge in what you"re doing, going along...and learning how it works...you just have to start somewhere...I just feel a bit lot (well, to be honest a lot) lost most of the time as everyone seems to look at me expectantly, wondering : ' so, what do you want to do?' and right now, mostly, my dream would be to wrtie books...(though I must crazy lol as it's quite a competitve world....) and while I will try to do my best, I yet have to find a job one the side...to be able to live (pay rent and everything). you don't write a book in one day (rire) unless maybe you write a best-seller...well, dream can come true if you have the possibilty of doing so..!?
In the meantime, I'll keep you posted!

I'll now let you go on on whatever you were doing! Take care and see you soon for a second article of the year! :) Don't worry, when and if I decide to stop writing article, you'll be the first to know. I'm still wondering whether to continue or not, but for now it's still running! Hope you're still enjoying it! :) xxx

P.S: I"ve started to read the last Bridet Jones Mad about the boy, not bad actually, still fun and really refreshing, still in same spririt as she is now a mother! :) There is just once thing that I miss and you must havz heard about it...I hope that I'm not spoiling anything by revealing it...for the once that don't know, please don't read further- if you do, then please do! :) Yes, I'm talking about our dear Mr Darcy...which I really like...but of course in this new adventure the author has killed of his character!!! Grr...sorry, call me odl fashion, I just miss him a bit, though the book , is still nice, slightly different, that's all! Anyway, hope you will enjoy it as much as I do if you have the chance to read it! :) xxx
