Dear readers,
First, how are you ? Hope you're ok and that going back to school for some or going back to work for others, after this nice summer, wasn't too hard! For myself, I got back to uni, a bit hard I' ve to say, but maybe once in the rhythm it should probably be ok! :)
And now, you might have already guess of what I'm going to talk about in this article? Indeed, of Jane Eyre! Again? Why? Let's see! Because a new adaption has been made recently and finally came out after month and month of waiting!!!! Well, for some you might have to wait a little bit more.... it came out in USA last March and in UK this week but for example in France, you will have to wait until...January to be able to see it! (I know!). So, if you're too impatient and can't possibly wait until then, well, only one solution for you, either jump in a Eurostar or in a plane, to London for a week-end and go to cinema to see the movie (rire)! :)

Anyway, let's come back to the story of Jane Eyre. For those who might have forgotten or need a reminder, a quick resume of this most beautiful story ever written! Jane Eyre, is an orphan and by a promise made by her uncle Reed, her horrible aunt, Mrs Reed has to take care of her. She isn't liked by her or her cousins. Lonely, she sometimes likes to read but often has to hide from them. One day, Jane is send to Lowood School where she will pass most of her childhood (ten to eighteen years old). She will became a teacher and be really liked by her young students. Anwering an advertising for a governess place, she goes to Thornfield, house of Mr Edward Fairfax Rochester! :) She will have to teach Adéle, French ward of Mr Rochester. They will rapidly become friends as with Mrs Fairfax (who is working for the master since quite a long time now), she is quite nice and likes Jane.
Along the novel, Mr Rochester and Jane will become closer and closer. He treats her as an equal but has his own secret (for those who have read the book, you already know of whom am refering to!). Many events will happen in between but fortunately it ends well! :) So, for the Charlotte Brontë's fan and/or Jane Eyre's fan, run to see it, I think you'll love it as much as I did, hopefully! :) This new adaption is quite good, interesting with good actors as Jane Eyre (played by Mia Wasikowska) who are given us a new Jane Eyre, strong and believing that she can be better as much as anybody! and a quite nice, really really nice Mr Rochester(not beautiful but as a certain charm and it gives him some kindness (even if he's normally rude) (played by Michael Fassbender). It stays faithful to the novel (even if sometimes you might find that some characters are a bit less present than in the book, as Grace Poole or Miss Blanche Ingram (whom for once is not blonde but has dark hair like in the book) or that some parts of the story are maybe quickly pass over or simply not in the movie (know it's hard to put everything in a single movie but I don't know, I think they're quite important too). But otherwise, this new movie is quite nice and you'll have I think a good time plunging yourself in it again and again, imagining how life was in the late 19th century and how the character are). And some nice scenery too (e.g: When Jane leaves Thornfield hall after discovering Mr Rochester's secret and doesn't really know where to go before meeting St John Rivers who will help her). So, I hope after all that, you will still want to see it and that I didn't scare you. It's what I feel but you might have of course a different opinion. :) Enjoy! ;) :)
See you soon for another article , take care, xxx
