As always, hope you're all ok with you?! :) ;)
Anyway, today, a bit of reading! I've a read a great book (a movie has been made already and having seen the trailer, it sounds real good, so let's see when it will coming out in October!) and maybe you've heard about it as well as me (newspaper, critics or simply seen the book in the library! :) ;) Having heard a lot of good critics about it, hesitantly at first, I recently tried the adventure of reading this book and tell you what? I didn't regret it for a second! The book is real good anf well-written, simply and not complicated, you're not bored at all, always wanting to know what's going to happen after!! The suspens is killing you until the last few pages! :) ;)
But first, before telling you about the plot, just a few pictures to give you an idea, hoping you might want to read it! :) ;)
The plot? City of Jackson, Mississippi, 1962. "Where blackmaids raise white children, but aren't trusted not to steal the silver..."
3 main characters in this book. All have a story to tell..(of course they're not the only one...).: First, there's Aibileen, who is raising her 17th white child, nursing her with all her love and trying to get over her son tragic's death. Then, we have Minny, another maid, "whose cooking is nearly as sassy as her tongue! :) and there is the "white Miss Skeeter, home from college and who wants to know what's happened to her beloved maid and why she has disappeared?
"Skeeter Aibileen, and Minny. No one would have believe they'd be friends, fewer still would tolerate it. But as each woman finds the courage to cross boundaries, they come to depend and rely upon one another." Indeed, each one of them has a incredible story to tell...
I let you now discover what going to happen, and I promess you the pages turn themselves! :) Can't wait now to see the movie!!! ;) :) Hope it'll be same for you! And of course the trailer (if you're interested! :) ;) : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J_ajv_6pUnI
Take care and see you soon for another article (short or long)! see you soon, xxx :) ;)
