Just to say hi

Dear readers, I hope you're all Ok or once again better than me lately....my mood is (really) down...I wish I didn't feel that way but I apparently do...it feels frustating most of the time...and I'm the one that can fix it...I have many things in my mind lately and I can't stop worrying, realizing (have been aware of that before but it's even more real now) that growing-up is nice but also a challenge, making you see things differently in a way. Many things changes, not that I mind, on the contrary, just that sometimes life goes on quite fast...and before you know, you're an adult. Not too bad I reassure you( rire) :) in any case, I still have some things to figure out...sorry to keep bothering you with that, it just feel nice to put words (sorry I repeat myself^^) on how you feel sometimes, it helps! Anyway, thanks for listening again and I hope to see you around soon for another article, hopefully more cheerful. :) Take care, xxxx

P.s: before you leave, here is a litte treat! I couldn't resist! and if you don't know it already (rire), this TV show is one my favorite! it has been there for me, I don't how many times, I lost count; but no matter what, it's here, making me laugh and cry at the same time. They were colorful and great characters, all roll in one! :) I still miss it sometimes! :) xx And I miss my friends too! :)

'I'll be there for you...' :) xxx

Quotation-2

Dear readers, hope you're all OK or at least slighly better than me lately as I reckon my mood has been still more down than up....grrr...many things in my mind...

Fortunately, Jane Austen, reading books as always, thinking about current or future stories, watching multiple re-runs of one of the best TV show ever...Friends, can't get enough of them (smile) and listening to classical music (very relaxing and recommanded!) help! :) the sunny weather that we have had too!
Anyway, I hope I don't bother you too much with that...not that I do but maybe you'd prefer more cheerful articles! Competly understandable, it just helps to talk about it...so thanks for listening :)

Just a short article tonight..., I'll see you soon for another article! I'm aware I'm not writing very often, but it  doesn't mean I'm forgetting you (smile) just that I like to write when inspired rather write for writing...you probably already know that!
Before leaving, a little quotation from one of my favorite authors! :) well, for a treat, maybe two! And to say, Jane Austen had a nice sense of humour! :)

'The person, be it a gentleman or lady, who has no pleasure in a good novel, must be intolerably stupid.' Henry Tilney, Northanger Abbey (Hum...very true, smile) :p

And another one: 'To marry for money I think the wickedest thing in existence.' Catherine Morland, Northanger Abbey (very wise remark) :) she may have her head in novels (mostly Gothic) but she has her heart in the right place!

Both quotations come from the book 'Jane Austen, A treasure' by Constance Moore (2013)

Take care, good luck for everything! :) xxxx

Spring time! :)

Dear readers, I hope you're all OK! I won't be too long today...just wanted to say hi and share one or two pictures...to make your smile and celebrate the start of the spring after a long and rainy winter, although we always need water...(but that's just me^^) :) Enjoy! :) Sorry in advance if the quality isn't great, I took them with my mobile, although it' s fairly knew, so it should be OK! :)

Here it goes! :)

That's true! :) couldn't resist!

An a funny image ..! .if you can't read well, it says: - 'Mm...The British are obviously warmer people than I thought...'
and the rest, as you can see is visible...but it also says: 'And I say you're not properly dressed!' :) both images above are taken from a small book titled: 'How to be British!' It's quite funny! :)
Yeah, well...I couldn't resist too when I saw it...and it resume perfectly doesn't it? I indeed Love books! :)
Picture taken from the Waterstones bookshop in Cambridge! :) Great idea isn't ? :)
And of course, all that with warm cup of coffee (or tea) can be real good! :)

Ok, there might be more than two pictures...lol take care and see you soon for another article! And a last treat before you leave:
Katie Melua-new song: 'Where does the ocean go?' from her new album (that I really like and recently bought) 'Ketevan'! :) xxx hope you'll like it as much as I do! :)

Friends

Dear readers, hope you're all OK since my last article or at least better than me lately...my mood has been more down than up and I really don't like it...many things in my mind...mostly in relation with starting to be independant and to find a job...not always easy, it still stresses me , it mostly scares me...feel a bit lost-I might repeat myself a bit but never mind-kind of lost in the ocean...though I hope it'll be OK...:)

The Rembrants- "I'll be there for you"

What has been helping-I know I have watched this TV show a millions time (it has made my lovely family crazy a few times^^), I have lost count but never mind, it doesn't get old at all, doesn't have any wrinkles and you still ended up having a good time, laughing with those colorful characters, that even though they can't be a bit annoying, you still love them no matter what happened! :) Isn't it great? I'm of course talking about of one  the best show ever...have you guessed?- it's....Friends!!!!!!!!!!! Can't help it!!!! I love that show, it has always be there ( a bit like the generic song^^) for me whenever I need...whenever I need a tonic, or just to laugh or cry, it's here! :) No questions asked! It just make me miss my friends that I don't get to see often these days...but hey, life is life... and as long as we stay in touch/ be there for each other...I'm always happy...:) it still a really great show! And this year, it will be 20 years old that the first season has been aired on TV and started to be popular all over the world! :) making us laugh and dream during 10 seasons and over 200 episodes! I still miss them and NYC adventures as funny as they always were after the last episodes aired 10 year ago now and often wonder what could have happened if they had continued but maybe in the end, it is best or it might have been different...I don't know...:) anyway, just a little souvenir: (see video above). hope it's working or you know where to find it! :)

Just an image as a souvenir....:)

Or just for fun....:) I couldn't resist! :) Enjoy! Of course they are many as you might have guess, it's hard to choose, so you can also look at them on youtube! :)

Take care and see you soon for another article hoping to be more cheerful! xxxx

P.S= Please watch it in English (rire)....it's better and the joke are funnier than when you watch in...French for example or...in another language! Maybe I'm started to be a bit snob....but sorry it's better!! otherwise it wouldn't be the same...anyway, enjoy! sorry couldn't resist! Happy re-runs....or re-re...runs! lol :)

4 years! :)

Dear readers, how are you? I know I haven't written for a few weeks now...but don't worry I'm not forgetting you, inspiration wasn't here and as you know, I only write when I'm inspired. :) Anyway, let's move on. Today, my blog is now....4 years old! Still  can't believe it! As when I started this blog, I didn't know I'd still be writing...and still don't know where it's going to lead me but for now, it's running! :) I just hope that you are enjoying it as much as I do while writing these articles! :) So, once again, thank you! thank for being here, thank you for listening...simply thank you! :) And to illustrate it, here is a song that can perfectly summarize it, it's 'thank you' by Celine Dion, an artist that I also appreciate among many others! Hope you will like it! :)
Here is the video or if not working, go on youtube! Have a good one, take care and see you soon for another article! :) xxx

Quotation

Dear readers, first and as usual I hope you're all OK! :)

And today, just a short article, I won't be long. She is one of my favorite authors and whenever I feel down or just want to laugh...I think about this wonderful author and all the great books she has written, that are today still very much appreciated. Many other authors (wether you like them or not, depending on how they write their own stories or versions) have tried (successfully or not) to reproduce the same spirit...it's always entertaining and some are good and you always have a good time, no matter what! I'm the first to say it. But as always, I'd say, the original is often the best! :) And Jane Austen is one the best! Since I've discovered her, I can't get enough!! And you? :)

Anyway, I just wanted to share a quotation, from one of her famous books:

'Nothing could be more delightful! To be fond of dancing was a certain step towards falling in love.' Pride&Prejudice-from the book 'The Jane Austen Miscellany by Lauren Nixon (2012)

Enjoy and see you for another article! take care, xxx

A lot on my mind

Dear readers, hope you're all OK since my last article? :) And that going back to work or studies hasn't been to hard! :) Or if you need a tonic (just like me lately!), don't hesitate to take time for youself, to relax whether it's just a with a book, a warm cup of tea, listening to music, watching a funny movie or a romantic comedy, watching your favorite Tv show(s)-if you have several (not a shame!), or simply escape for a week-end (entre parenthése, going away at Christmas with my family has been really nice, to escape...was once more very beneficial and sometimes-even after being back for a few weeks now, I strangely miss it! Maybe because I haven't been doing that for a while now...so I hope to do so soon as lately I've been thinking a lot, hence having a lot things in my mind, playing with my mood...not always easy, as you are embarking in a new adventure, in a new...path...-if that means anything?!- ) hum where was I? Oh, yes, winter can...be winter, between cold and fresh temperature, night still falling early, less sun...and it can play on the mood...so don't hesitate to indulge yourself once in a while! :)

In the meantime, I'll keep you posted on what happens, though I don't when I'll post my next article-and it doesn't happen for a few weeks, please don't worry, I'm not leaving this blog yet...:) just taking some time off, thinking about I want and what I'd like to do! :) And I've recently met someone really nice that is helping me just do that! :) But I won't say more.

Moreover, I've also been suggesting that I could start another blog-different from this one(still thinking about it) where I'll be more focusing on my writing-talking about books I've reading, and once in while add some stories (whether it's a short one or a beginning of chapter)...! Quite exciting, though for now I'll see how I can do that and in which...hum...don't find the right word...never mind :) what do you think? If and when I'm doing this new blog, I'll keep you posted! Take care and see you for another article! :) xxxx
